AbraSilver Resource Corp (TSX.V:ABRA) is an advanced-stage exploration company focused on rapidly advancing its 100%-owned Diablillos silver-gold project in the mining-friendly Salta province of Argentina, which contains a large resource base of 109 million ounces of silver and 1.3 million ounces of gold within the Oculto deposit, in the Measured and Indicated category (as of October 31 2022).
The company has recently discovered a brand-new exploration target (the JAC zone), located several hundred metres beyond the southwestern limit of the October 2022 Mineral Resource estimate at Oculto. To date, initial assay results received from the new JAC zone have demonstrated high-grade silver mineralization in near-surface oxide mineralization over broad widths, with excellent potential for continuity based on magnetics and geological interpretation. The new JAC zone adds a brand-new dimension to the Diablillos project and opens up considerable silver resource potential beyond the October 2022 Mineral Resource estimate.
